Looking at the brighter side of things

Jonah has been completely enthralled by the toilet lately. He loves to sit on the little toilet and often he does actually go. Today, I was in the middle of making breakfast when Jonah yelled "POOP!" I said, "Just a minute, momma's cookin' eggs." Jonah wagged his finger at me and said "No, No!" I found him in the bathroom, a few minutes later (completely nude) with poop all over the toilet seat and walls. (He stood up and kept bumping into things) SO, looking at the brighter side of things, I think Jonah may be easier to potty train than Logan was.

Things that rock!

So last night, Robert stayed up until 11 p.m. working on the basement. He says it's driving him crazy (try living with it like that for a year and a half!!!) I went downstairs to check on him and he had textured all of the walls in the toy room....the goal, to get it finished this week so the kids have a toy room. We're almost done with it now. I'm so excited. (and so grateful for my husband who is willing to work all day and then come home to finish the basement!)

Jonah's Birthday

Ok, so it's been really busy here and I haven't had a chance to post anything about sweet little Jonah's birthday. Jonah turned 2 on March 28. Now, we had two birthday parties. One at grandma's house, then that evening, the boys went to their dad's house and had a big pizza party and cake. For Jonah's birthday party at grandma & grandpa's house, we had a "picnic" (inside because it was freezing) and birthday cake, and we blew bubbles and played with chalk. It was a really fun day. Here are some pictures!

Chicken Vindaloo

I will post again today to post some pictures of Jonah's 2nd birthday. I promised to post the recipe for this on here. Click here for the link. It's a great Vindaloo (even better if you substitute lamb) and it's pretty easy.
