Argh

It feels like there are just moments in a day...no hours, just moments that flash by in a hurry. I was wondering where all my time goes. I still haven't figured that out, but I've spent the afternoon combining two households of kitchen wares into one kitchen. I need more cupboards.

Random

Have you ever wondered why memories just pop up out of no where. I miss my Grandpa Glanville today. I was thinking about Hawaiian Punch. (because there is some up in my fridge and I am thirsty) but, it reminded me of my grandpa. He used to ask us kids "Hey, do you want a Hawaiian punch?" and of course, we always wanted one, then he'd wind up and pretend to punch us. I thought it was so funny. Man, I miss him.

Things here are getting back to normal. We're home. The bags are unpacked. When it's all said and done, I'm so happy to be "Mrs. Hunter."

O'ahu

So, we're in O'ahu now. The last two days have been jam-packed with activities. We've gone whale watching from a boat. (They weren't even 100 ft away. Freakin' awesome) Then, yesterday, we went to Pearl Harbor and saw the Arizona Memorial as well as the submarine the Bowfin and the Missouri. It was really neat. (My feet are killing me) I am missing the tropical-ness of Kauai. O'ahu is very much like LA. (cars and people EVERYWHERE, with sky scrapers as far as the eye can see.

I love it here

When I woke up this morning, Robert said "I could live here." I said "That's good, because I'm not going home." Seriously, I love this place! It's weird. My uncle Layne used to live here and I have such fond memories of going with him on these magical sight seeing tours. A LOT has changed in 10 years.
1) Princeville hotel is closed and undergoing renovations
2) The golf course in princeville is also torn up and they are renovating. It is closed.
3) The restaurant in the Hanalei Bay Resort is closed and it's basically a run-down roach motel.

I was shocked, inspite of that, this trip has been magical. I love Kauai. The wedding was beautiful. We were married by a guy named Chuck E. Chuck. I was worried when I heard his name, but he was so charming and wonderful. It rained the whole boat ride up to the grotto, then stopped for our ceremony and then started again for the boat ride, then stopped to get in the car. Luckily those boats are covered.

Anyways, we're having a great time. I wish everyone could be here!
