SO FRUSTRATED!

I have finished all of my course work for my first class at the DATC. I am taking the media design program there. My instructor has not been there in two weeks and none of the substitute teachers have access to the tests...so I have 13 tests to take before I can move on...and I am stuck. My teacher is only there 50% of the time. The rest of the time there are people teaching this class who are highly under-qualified. The subsitute on Friday actually said to me "What is Access again?"

Um, it's the computer program that you're supposed to be teaching me...but thank you for wasting my time and money!

If I am being taught by someone who is less qualified...who is making less than my regular teacher, I should be paying less in tuition!!!

I am graded on attendance and have to attend 90% or more of my classes...Why doesn't my instuctor have to attend the same amount?

IT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!!!!
Anyways, as soon as my teacher decides to go to school...I will be done with the class!

Why do teachers think thats ok? I had a figure drawing teacher who wouldnt show up for class. He even told us that we would be docked if we didn't show up on Halloween night...so we showed up and he didn't even come. Then the next class he just laughed about it when someone asked about it. LAME!

I suggest complaining to someone higher up.

Most higher ed places let you write an evaluation. I would make sure to complain about the lack of teaching and teacher present, and ask why you had to pay for a class where you received no schooling like you were supposed to. Do you have a department head you can complain to? Start there, then move up to the dean. They will take those complaints VERY seriously, and you have every right to complain.
